Tide at Hastings Road

A new high-quality, purpose-built student accommodation scheme is coming to 42 Hastings Road, West Ealing. We are excited to have recently secured a resolution to grant (an agreement to the development in principle, with formal permission to come shortly) for the redevelopment of the former Majestic Wine premises.

We will shortly be moving forward with the next stage of our plans, beginning with demolition of the existing buildings on site. We are looking forward to working with the local community to deliver a scheme which addresses local needs and causes the minimum possible level of disruption.

By utilising modular construction methods in partnership with Vision Volumetric – our accredited off-site manufacturing system – we will dramatically reduce the carbon emissions, vehicle movements and the length of construction programme associated with the scheme.

‍The approved development will help to alleviate the pressure placed on Ealing-based students in their search for accommodation and will help to free up existing housing currently being used as student accommodation so that it remains traditional family housing. We are targeting a 35% provision of affordable student bedspaces for the development.
